The NQAP program for the Bacteriology module is designed for clinical laboratories that require a competency scheme under the ISO 15189 scope. This program is conducted twice a year, with four bacterial isolates that need to be subcultured and their identification and antimicrobial resistance determined. To date, a total of 83 government and private hospitals have participated in the NQAP program.
